Belconnen and Gungahlin warrants leads to cash and drugs

Members of the ACT Criminal Investigations Crime Targeting Team (CTT) with assistance from National Canine Operations executed the search warrant at a residence in Belconnen.
During the search of the premises police seized a quantity of Cocaine, Methylamphetamine and Cannabis along with scales and equipment associated with drug trafficking. A large sum of cash was also seized.
A second warrant was executed on a premises in Gungahlin, where another large sum of cash was seized.
The 24-year-old man was arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled drug other than cannabis. He will appear before the ACT Magistrates Court this morning (Friday, 20 May) where police will oppose bail.
