Police appeal to locate missing woman Nardia Clark – Forster

Police will prepare a report for the Coroner after a body located at a beach in the state’s Manning Great Lakes area has been identified as missing woman Nardia Clark.

Ms Clark, 56, was last seen on Monday 4 July 2016 on Little Street, Forster.

A number of appeals for public information about her disappearance were made without success.

Mc Clark’s body was located within thick bushland off Tuncurry Beach on the afternoon of Wednesday 14 September 2016, but remained unidentified until this week.

There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.

Police thank the public and the media for their assistance.

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate Nardia Clark, a woman missing from Forster.

Nardia Clark, 56, was last seen on Monday (4 July 2016) on Little Street.

Police from Manning Great Lakes Local Area Command were alerted when she failed to return home and could not be located or contacted.

Concerns are held for her welfare.

Nardia is described as being of Caucasian appearance, with a thin build, approximately 155cm tall and with shoulder-length grey hair.

She was last seen wearing a white top and jeans.

Police are appealing to the community to help locate a woman who has been missing since March this year.

Leanne Stevens, aged 31, was last seen by a friend at a home in Lilyfield in March.

Her family has tried to make contact with her since this time, however she has not returned any calls, and no one has seen or heard from her.

Police and family hold concerns for her welfare.

Ms Stevens is described as being Caucasian in appearance, about 175cm tall, with a slim build. She has a tattoo with Chinese characters on her wrist.

She is known to frequent the Central Coast and Newcastle areas.

Anyone with information on Ms Steven’s whereabouts is urged to contact Glebe Police Station on (02) 9552 8099 or via Crime Stoppers.
