Missing woman Bindi Cheers in state’s Central Hunter region

A 44-year-old Bindi Cheers who was reported missing from Beresfield last weekend has been found.

She was found on John Renshaw Drive, about 1.20pm today (Wednesday 27 July 2016) and has been taken to hospital for treatment.

Police wish to thank the community and media for their assistance.

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a Bindi Cheers missing from the state’s Central Hunter region since yesterday.

Bindi Cheers, 44, was last seen about 2pm (Sunday 24 July 2016), at a race club on Racecourse Road, Clarendon.

When Bindi Cheers failed to return home, officers attached to Central Hunter Local Area Command were contacted and commenced searching for her.

It is believed Bindi Cheers may have driven to a service station on Enterprise Drive, Beresfield, prior to going missing. She is believed to be on foot.

Bindi Cheers is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175cm tall, of slim build, with a fair complexion.

She was last seen wearing grey cargo pants, running shoes, and may be wearing a maroon jacket.

Anyone who may have seen Bindi Cheers is urged to contact Maitland Police via Crime Stoppers.

A search around the Enterprise Drive, Beresfield location will commence at first light today (Monday 25 July 2016).

Search for missing man Matthew Doolan at Cobbannah

Police have located the body of a male in their search for 17-year-old missing Queenslander Matthew Doolan.

The body was located by police and State Emergency Services members about 12.15pm who had resumed their search in bushland in Cobbannah earlier this morning.

His death is not being treated as suspicious and police will prepare a report for the Coroner.

Police and State Emergency Services members are currently searching bushland at Cobbannah for missing Queensland man Matthew Doolan.

17-year-old Matthew Doolan is believed to have driven to Victoria from Queensland in a blue Kia Rio with Queensland plates.

Matthew’s car was located on Billy Goat Bend Road about 10.55am this morning.

Police, with assistance from SES personnel, are currently searching bushland in the Mitchell River National Park and surrounding area.

Investigators have released an image of Matthew Doolan in the hope that someone may be able to provide information as to his whereabouts.

Bindi Cheers, Matthew Doolan, Melesisi Pati, Sharrie Murray, Cindy Osborne and Robina girlPolice are appealing for public assistance to help locate a 14-year-old girl reported missing from Robina. The girl (pictured) was last seen at around 11am on July 22.

Police hold concerns for her welfare due to her age.

She is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 160cm tall, of a proportionate build with brown hair and brown eyes.

The girl was last seen wearing a black Adidas track suit.

Bindi Cheers, Matthew Doolan, Melesisi Pati, Sharrie Murray, Cindy Osborne and Robina girlPolice are appealing for public assistance to help locate a woman missing from Woodridge.

Melesisi Pati, 34, was last seen at a Garfield Road home around midday on Wednesday July 20.

Melesisi Pati may be travelling with her children, a 7-year-old girl and a 12-year-old girl.

Police hold concerns for her welfare as she has not been in touch with her family or friends and this is out of character.

Melesisi Pati is described as Pacific Islander in appearance, a large build, around 164 centimetres tall with black hair and brown eyes.

She has a tattoo of an arm band wrapping around the left upper arm.

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing 17-year-old Sharrie Murray.

Sharrie Murray was last seen at a residential address in Beaufort Street, Mount Waverley on 22 May.

It’s believed she was spotted in the Melbourne CBD on 8 July.

Police hold concerns for her welfare due to her age and time missing and believe she may be suffering from a medical condition.

Police have released images of Sharrie Murray in the hope that someone may have information on her current whereabouts.

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing Mildura woman Cindy Osborne.

42-year-old Cindy Osborne was last seen at her home address on Fourteenth Street about 11.30pm yesterday.

Police and family have concerns for her welfare as she has a medical condition that requires treatment.

Investigators have released an image of Cindy Osborne in the hope that someone may know her whereabouts.

They have also released an image of vehicle similar to the one Cindy is believed to be driving, with registration number UWA 431.

Cindy Osborne is described as 155cm tall, medium build and has straight light brown hair.

Anyone who sees Cindy Osborne is urged to contact Mildura Police Station on 5018 5360.
