An 81-year-old woman reported missing from Coolangatta since 6pm yesterday, has today been located safe and well in northern New South Wales.

The public, media and all involved in the search, including 30 SES volunteers, are thanked for their assistance.

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate an 81-year-old Tweed Heads woman Reta Kirkland reported missing from Coolangatta today.

Reta Kirkland (pictured) was last seen at a bus stop on Griffith Street, Coolangatta just after 6pm and has not been seen by since.

Police hold concerns for her welfare due to a medical condition.

Reta Kirkland is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 163cm tall, of a slim build with white hair and a green eyes.

She was last seen wearing dark denim jeans, a white cardigan and brown shoes. Reta was carrying a blue “enviro” type bag and also possibly a bright pink overnight bag.

Anyone who has may have seen Reta or has any information about her location is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Appeal to help locate missing Izac Lawrence boy – Katoomba

A teenager missing from the Blue Mountains has been located safe and well.

The 15-year-old boy was reported missing after he had not been seen since Monday 18 July 2016.

About 7pm yesterday (Saturday 30 July 2016), the boy returned to his Katoomba home.

Police would like to thank the community and media for their assistance.

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a teenage boy Izac Lawrence missing from the Blue Mountains.

Izac Lawrence, aged 15, was last seen at his home in Katoomba about 7.45am on Monday 18 July 2016.

He contacted his parents the following day saying he was staying at a friend’s house for the night. However it is not known who this friend is or where they live.

He has not been seen or spoken to since that time.

He was reported missing to police from Blue Mountains Local Area Command on Wednesday (27 July 2016).

Izac Lawrence is described as Caucasian appearance, about 168cm tall, chubby build, with short blonde/brown coloured hair.

Anyone who is aware of his whereabouts is asked to contact police immediately.
