Police appeal to help locate Jesse Southam-Marsh – northern NSW

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner after the body of a man, missing from northern NSW, was located on Saturday.

The 23-year-old man was last seen on the afternoon of Wednesday 17 August 2016 at Tomewin, north-west of Murwillumbah.

Police searching dense bushland off Tomewin Road, Tomewin, located the man’s body about 8am yesterday (Saturday 3 September 2016).

There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.

Police thank the public and the media for their assistance.

The family of Jesse Southam-Marsh, a missing man from northern NSW have asked police for help in locating him.

Jesse Southam-Marsh, aged in his 20s, was last seen around 3.30pm on Wednesday 17 August 2016 on Tomewin Road at Tomewin, north west of Murwillumbah.

When he was last seen, Jesse Southam-Marsh was wearing a grey jacket, a blue t-shirt with logo on front and board shorts.

Jesse Southam-Marsh is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 150cm tall, with sandy brown unwashed shoulder length hair and is unshaven.

It is highly out of character for Jesse Southam-Marsh not to have maintained contact with his family.

Missing boy, Raceview

A 12-year-old boy reported missing from Raceview has been located safe and well.

Police would like to thank the media and public for their assistance.

Raceview boy and Jesse Southam-MarshPolice are appealing for public assistance to help locate a 12-year-old boy reported missing from Raceview in Ipswich this afternoon.

The boy (pictured) was last seen at an address on Cascade Street at around 2:30pm and has not been seen by friends or family since.

Police hold concerns for his welfare due to his age.

The boy is described as Aboriginal in appearance, approximately 160cm tall, of a slim build with curly short black hair.

He was last seen wearing a black and white t-shirt, black shorts, blue Reebok shoes and a blue bicycle helmet.

He may also be riding a black and maroon mountain bicycle.

Anyone who has any information about the boy’s location is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
