Police appeal to locate missing Xingxian Shao – Merrylands

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate Xingxian Shao , a woman missing in Sydney’s west.

Xingxian Shao, aged 72, was last seen about 10am yesterday (Saturday 10 September 2016), when she left a relative’s home on Newman Street, Merrylands.

When she didn’t return, officers from Holroyd Local Area Command were notified about 8pm.

Police commenced a search, but Xingxian Shao has not been located.

Concerns are held for her welfare as she does not speak any English, and had little or no money with her.

Xingxian Shao is known to walk from Merrylands to Parramatta.

Xingxian Shao is described as being of Asian appearance, about 155cm tall, of slim build, with short black hair.

She was last seen wearing black pants and a grey cardigan.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Xingxian Shao is urged to come forward.

Missing Frank Sinclair, Nambour

Police are seeking public assistance to help locate Frank Sinclair, a man in his 80s, reported missing from Nambour.

Frank Sinclair (pictured) was last seen at Nambour train station around 3.30pm on September 1 boarding a train for Brisbane and has not been heard from since.

Police hold concerns for his wellbeing as he suffers from a medical condition.

Frank Sinclair is described as being Caucasian in appearance, about 180cm tall, thin build with wavy grey hair, blue eyes and may be using a walking stick.

Missing 12-year-old boy, Cleveland

Police are seeking public assistance to locate a 12-year-old boy missing from Cleveland since Friday, September 9.

The boy was last seen around 6pm near a bus stop on Middle Street.

The boy is described as Caucasian in appearance approximately 175cm tall with an average build, brown hair and hazel eyes.

He was last seen wearing a maroon polo shirt and grey pants, and was carrying a black backpack.

Police hold concerns for his safety as he has not contacted family. Anyone who has seen him or has further information is urged to contact Police Link on 131444.
